Dr. Sukrutha Vangipuram

I am Dr. Sukrutha Vangipuram, an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems in the Information Systems and Computing Technologies Division at the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology (CBET) at Texas A&M University–Texarkana.

I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas. My academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to teaching excellence, research innovation, and student mentorship in the field of information systems and computing technologies.

I have extensive teaching experience across multiple academic roles. During my doctoral studies, I served as a teaching assistant, supporting both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computer science and engineering. In addition, I worked as an adjunct instructor at Texas A&M University, where I contributed to high-quality instruction and student engagement in computing-related subjects.

Before pursuing my doctoral studies, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Methodist College of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with Osmania University, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Swamy Vivekananda Institute of Technology, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, from 2007 to 2010.

I obtained my Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2012 and my Bachelor’s degree (B.E) in Information Technology from Osmania University in 2007.

My academic interests focus on emerging technologies in information systems, with an emphasis on integrating research and practical applications to address real-world challenges in computing and data-driven environments.

I actively welcome collaborations with researchers, scholars, and students interested in exploring research opportunities and publishing their work in relevant areas of computing and information systems.
